Intelligent Video Cameras

CoVi Technologies of Austin, Texas, has introduced two high-definition video cameras with embedded video analytics. The CoVi CVQ-2500 and CVQ-3500 Multi-Stream cameras feature intelligent software technology that automates the process of monitoring and analyzing video information. Both cameras integrate a dedicated video analytics engine and intelligent ObjectVideo analytics software to monitor numerous simultaneous video feeds. They can detect, identify, classify, and track objects, in addition to issuing automatic alerts for immediate action. The distributed IP system architecture reduces the processing requirements because video is analyzed before it is transmitted. The cameras offer resolution of 1280 x 720 and a 16:9 aspect ratio for greater field of view.
